This premier international platform brings together researchers, innovators, and practitioners to present cutting-edge findings, unveil emerging technologies, and chart the future directions of engineering and the natural sciences.<\/p><p>This year&#8217;s conference covers high-impact research tracks, including:<\/p><ul><li>Energy Physics and Renewable Systems<\/li><li>Advanced Materials and Materials Physics<\/li><li>Photonics, Optics, Acoustics, and Wave Physics<\/li><li>Instrumentation, Sensors, and Measurement Physics<\/li><li>Control, Automation, and Physical System Modeling<\/li><li>Computational Physics and Simulation for Engineering<\/li><li>Built Environments Physics and Climate-Resilient Systems<\/li><\/ul><hr \/><h3><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Publication<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>EPIC 2026<\/strong><\/span> features keynote and parallel sessions. Accepted and presented papers are targeted for publication in <span style=\"color: #f59e0b;\"><em><strong>AIP Conference Proceedings <sup>*<\/sup>, indexed by Scopus.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p><small><sup>*<\/sup> <span style=\"color: #f59e0b;\">Publication in AIP Conference Proceedings is currently under confirmation<\/span>.<\/small><\/p><hr \/><h3><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Peer-Review Process<\/span><\/h3><p><strong><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">EPIC 2026<\/span><\/strong> operates a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of all published work. All submissions are handled in accordance with the stages outlined below.<\/p><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Stage 1. Initial Screening<\/span><\/h5><p>All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the editorial team. Manuscripts that do not meet the conference scope or minimum quality standards are returned to authors without external review. Those deemed suitable are forwarded for blind peer review.<\/p><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Stage 2. Blind Peer Review<\/span><\/h5><p>Qualifying manuscripts are evaluated by independent reviewers on the following criteria:<\/p><ul><li>Relevance to the conference theme and scope<\/li><li>Timeliness and novelty of the research<\/li><li>Technical content and scientific rigor<\/li><li>Clarity and quality of presentation<\/li><\/ul><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Stage 3. Editorial Decision<\/span><\/h5><p>Based on reviewer recommendations, the editors will issue one of the following decisions:<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Accepted<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 the manuscript meets all requirements and is approved for publication<\/li><li><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Minor Revision<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 small corrections are required before final acceptance<\/li><li><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Major Revision<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 substantial revisions and re-evaluation are required<\/li><li><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Rejected<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 the manuscript does not meet the required standards<\/li><\/ul><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Stage 4. Author Notification and Tracking<\/span><\/h5><p>Authors will be notified of the editorial decision by email upon completion of the review process. Submission status may be monitored at any time through the Conference Management System.<\/p><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Stage 5. Camera-Ready Submission<\/span><\/h5><p>Accepted authors must finalize their manuscript in accordance with the author guidelines, incorporating all reviewer feedback, prior to submitting the<br \/>camera-ready version.<\/p><hr \/><h3><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Publication Ethics<\/span><\/h3><p><strong><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">EPIC 2026<\/span><\/strong> is committed to upholding the highest standards of scholarly integrity. The organizing committee adheres to the <a href=\"https:\/\/publicationethics.org\/guidance\/Guidelines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Guidelines for Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing<\/a>.<\/p><p>All committee members, reviewers, and authors are expected to comply with the <a href=\"https:\/\/publicationethics.org\/resources\/code-conduct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COPE Code of Conduct<\/a>, including commitments to objectivity, confidentiality, disclosure of conflicts of interest, and the prevention of plagiarism and data fabrication.<\/p><hr \/><h3><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Attendance and Presentation Policy<\/span><\/h3><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Conference Date and Format<\/span><\/h5><p>EPIC 2026 will be held on <span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>October 24, 2026<\/strong><\/span>, in <span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Lampung, Indonesia<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p><p>As a hybrid conference, authors may attend and present in either of the following modes:<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Offline<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 in person at the conference venue<\/li><li><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\"><strong>Online<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 via the designated virtual platform<\/li><\/ul><p>Regardless of attendance mode, all presenters must adhere to the session schedule established by the organizing committee.<\/p><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Presentation Requirement<\/span><\/h5><p>Following submission of the final manuscript and presentation materials, the presenting author is required to attend the conference and participate in the<br \/>live Q&amp;A session corresponding to their paper.<\/p><h5><span style=\"color: #1e3a8a;\">Author Substitution<\/span><\/h5><p>If the presenting author is unable to attend, a co-author must present the paper in their place. The organizing committee must be notified of any changes to author representation in advance.
