Peer-Review Process
EPIC 2026 operates a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of all published work. All submissions are handled in accordance with the stages outlined below.
Stage 1. Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the editorial team. Manuscripts that do not meet the conference scope or minimum quality standards are returned to authors without external review. Those deemed suitable are forwarded for blind peer review.
Stage 2. Blind Peer Review
Qualifying manuscripts are evaluated by independent reviewers on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the conference theme and scope
- Timeliness and novelty of the research
- Technical content and scientific rigor
- Clarity and quality of presentation
Stage 3. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer recommendations, the editors will issue one of the following decisions:
- Accepted — the manuscript meets all requirements and is approved for publication
- Minor Revision — small corrections are required before final acceptance
- Major Revision — substantial revisions and re-evaluation are required
- Rejected — the manuscript does not meet the required standards
Stage 4. Author Notification and Tracking
Authors will be notified of the editorial decision by email upon completion of the review process. Submission status may be monitored at any time through the Conference Management System.
Stage 5. Camera-Ready Submission
Accepted authors must finalize their manuscript in accordance with the author guidelines, incorporating all reviewer feedback, prior to submitting the
camera-ready version.
Publication Ethics
EPIC 2026 is committed to upholding the highest standards of scholarly integrity. The organizing committee adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Guidelines for Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
All committee members, reviewers, and authors are expected to comply with the COPE Code of Conduct, including commitments to objectivity, confidentiality, disclosure of conflicts of interest, and the prevention of plagiarism and data fabrication.
